How referrals work

Step 1: You refer a friend

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Open to the "Refer a friend" widget in the bottom right on the screen
  3. Copy the URL
  4. Send the URL to your friend

Note: Once your friend purchases a subscription, you will automatically receive store credit that can be used on any future purchases.

Step 2: Friend claims discount code

  1. Open the URL from your friend
  2. A widget on the bottom right of screen will appear, asking for your email:
  3. Enter your email address, then click Claim Your Gift
  4. Check your email for a discount code. The email will look something like this:Note: Discount codes start with REF_

Step 3: Friend purchases subscription using discount code

  1. Add a bread subscription to your shopping cart
  2. At the checkout ensure you enter the email address that exactly matches where the discount code was sent
  3. Insert your discount code to receive discount on your subscription

Note: referral discount codes are unique to each customer. Customers are identified by email addresses so please ensure the same email address is used during checkout as when claiming your gift.

Arrrggh this is too complicated!

Never fear! If all of the above feels too complicated, simply contact us with the names of friends who you have referred, and if we see they have made a qualifying purchase, we will manually credit your account with a gift.
