We're excited to share an idea we've been exploring at Jack's Bread, and we'd love to hear what you think.
Right now, our subscription focuses on consistency—the same brilliant wholemeal sourdough arriving each week. That works beautifully for many of you, and we're proud of it. But we've had enough requests for variety that we've started wondering: what if we could offer both?
The Variety Pack Subscription Concept
We're considering launching a rotating bread subscription where each week brings something different. Here's how it might work:
- Week 1: Wholemeal sourdough
- Week 2: French baguettes
- Week 3: Rye bread
- Week 4: White sourdough
Then the cycle repeats. You'd get the same quality and care we put into every loaf—just with the pleasure of discovering something new throughout the month.
Why This Works for Us (and You)
Here's the practical side: we bake in batches. Switching to a rotating variety pack actually keeps us efficient while giving people who crave it the diversity they're after. Each bread uses similar ingredient quantities, just different flours and techniques, so the price stays exactly the same as our standard subscription.
It's a win for craft bakers and variety seekers alike.
We Need Your Input
Before we commit to this, we need to gauge genuine interest. We'd need at least 6 new or existing subscribers ready to sign up to make the rotating schedule work smoothly.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd be grateful if you'd reply to this post or get in touch. Your interest helps us decide whether to move forward—and shapes what Jack's Bread becomes next.
