How to manage your subscription

Bread subscriptions are a convenient way to get a regular supply of fresh local bread each week, but what happens if you go away?

Well, all subscribers get access to a customer portal where they can directly manage their own subscription. This includes the ability to skip bread for a specific week (known as skipping a "fulfilment").

Each time you skip a week, it simply removes a fulfilment for that week and adds one to the end of your subscription. It will also extend your next payment date by a week, because obviously you only need to pay for next items once you've received all your previous items!

Accessing the customer portal

Getting to the customer portal is easy. You can either:

  • Follow the Manage Subscription button in your original subscription email
  • Visit Manage subscription (login required)
    • Note: this link is also in the footer of every page

Via the original subscription email

The email you got when you created your subscription should be titled "Your new subscription" and will look something like the image below. Within it, you can click the Manage Subscription button to jump directly to the subscription management portal.

Via the home page

If you don't want to memorize the link above, you can simply visit www.jacksbread.co.uk and click your profile icon in the top right. A little menu will appear. You can click either the Profile or Orders button. This will take you to the customer portal where you can view your profile or orders, but it will also show a Subscription management link at the top of the screen.

Skipping fulfilments

Once you have accessed the Subscription management screen, you will see a list of all your subscriptions (you likely only have one). Select the appropriate subscription and you will see the following subscription details page. Select the Fulfilments tab and then select Skip Fulfilment. Notice that a new fulfilment has now been created at the end of the list.
